The court extended for another month the ban on certain actions to the defendants of the case of vandalism from the Prosecutor General's Office

The Tver District Court extended until December 8 the ban on the defendants of “unlimited protest” Olga Misik, Ivan Vorobevsky and Igor Basharimov, accused of vandalism (part 2 of article 214 of the Criminal Code) in connection with the action with the Prosecutor General’s Office. This was reported by lawyers from the OVD-Info Sergey Telnov, Elena Sheremetyeva and Dmitry Gravitov.

The court extended the measure of restraint at the request of the interrogator. As the lawyer Telnov specified, the law enforcement officer used “duty phrases” and did not provide any new arguments why the ban on certain actions must be introduced for another month.

“The defender of the capture tried to find out from the investigator how Misik could threaten witnesses if these witnesses have already been questioned. Neither the interrogator nor the prosecutor answered anything intelligible, ”the lawyer Telnov commented on the position of the prosecution.

In the meeting, the defense side emphasized that the involvement of the defendants of the case in the crime has not yet been established. “The inquiry has received numerous evidence of non -involvement,” said lawyer Telnov.

On September 30, the Moscow City Courtsoftened Misik a preventive measure, increasing the time at which the activist can be outside the house, namely from 6:00 to 22:00.

• On the morning of August 9, they came to activists with searches. At first they searched Vorobevsky’s apartment, then - the cottage Misik, where Basharimov was also located. The detainees were delivered to the Tverskaya police department, interrogated and sent to the IVS. On August 10, the court appointed all defendants in the case as a preventive measure for a ban on certain actions.
