On Kirochny Street, 47, the work of the "Shadows" began to work, representatives of the institution told Paper . The founders of the establishment were Alexander Kotkov and Sergey Kurilo, the name of the place was inspired by the play of the same name by Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin (until 1998, Kirochnaya Street was named after the writer).
The concept of the restaurant is built around the theater: the menu, for example, was divided into several “actions”. The first were snacks, the third - pastes, sixth - desserts. The kitchen of the establishment was headed by the ex-chef of the "Dreamers" Viktor Gusev.
Gusev prefers local and seasonal products, and he combines the purity of taste with gastronomic experiments: orzo with scallops is accompanied by a cheese-lemon mousse, and seafood (shrimp, Wongol and crab)-cherries. On weekdays from 12:00 to 17:00, the main menu has a 20 %discount.
In the bar, non -alcoholic mixes, coffee, tea and alcohol were collected. About ten wines are poured into glasses, the price of a bottle does not exceed 3 thousand rubles. The cocktails for the neo -bust was developed by Ilya Bunin (“Architect”), who created his variations of classic drinks.
The room for 20 seats was designed with candles, frozen wax on the walls, dried flowers and chandeliers from book pages. More detailed information can be found on the Instagram "shadows" .
