
The authorities of St. Petersburg invited the Ministry of Health to make the city a "model region in working out the optimal help structure" Covid-19 patients. This was reported by the press service of Smolny after meetings with representatives of the department.
The meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Health Igor Kagramanyan and assistant to Minister Oksana Guseva was held on November 9. The meeting discussed issues of financing the purchase of drugs and attracting federal and departmental hospitals for the treatment of residents of St. Petersburg who are sick with Covid-19. The governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov noted that it is now important to create conditions for the work of precinct doctors, including providing transport and information assistance.
According to Znak.com, citing a source close to Smolny, representatives of the Ministry of Health did not visit St. Petersburg hospitals, but spent the whole day at meetings in the city government.
