The Central Bank recommended that banks and payment system operators set daily and monthly cash-out limits at store cash desks (cash-out).
In an information letter ( .pdf ), the regulator advises limiting the issuance of five thousand rubles a day and 30 thousand a month.
We are talking only about individuals, and the limit is set "cumulatively for all cards" issued by one bank.
“The issuance of cash is subject to the purchase <…> of a product or service,” the Central Bank specified. “Cash-out service is not provided for corporate payment cards of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.”
The regulator recommends adhering to the restrictions in order to minimize the risk of the outlet providing the cash-out service being involved in “illegal activities”.
