The Central Bank recommended limiting the issuance of cash at store checkouts to the amount of five thousand rubles per day

The Central Bank recommended that banks and payment system operators set daily and monthly cash-out limits at store cash desks (cash-out).

In an information letter ( .pdf ), the regulator advises limiting the issuance of five thousand rubles a day and 30 thousand a month.
