The Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don extended the house arrest of Jehovah's Witness Semyon Baibak until January 12, 2021. “Caucasian Knot” writes about this.
The defense asked the court to soften the preventive measure and ban the believer from certain actions. Baibak's relatives stated at the meeting that due to house arrest, the young man could not work, which affected the family's income.
Baybak also stated in court that he did not admit guilt on the charges charged: “I believe that I am accused of committing a crime that I did not commit. I really belong to the Jehovah’s Witnesses denomination, I regularly read the Bible, which is what the preliminary investigation authorities discovered and which is supposedly proof of my guilt.”
