On November 13, the Military Court of Appeal in the city of Vlasikha, near Moscow, left three defendants in the Belogorsk case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, Riza Omerov, Enver Omerov and Ayder Dzhepparov, in the pre-trial detention center, Crimean Solidarity . reports
The court upheld the decision of the Southern District Military Court, which on October 12 extended the detention of the accused until January 15, 2021.
“The prosecutor examined the materials of the case against our clients - they are all positive. He presented all these arguments in his petition. And then suddenly the phrase: "Please extend." To be honest, we didn't even realize at first. The prosecutor did not give arguments, even those of the prosecutor's, which had to be brought and voiced at the court session. It was amazing and rare,” said Oleksandr Stasiuk, a lawyer for one of the defendants.
During the meeting, the defendants noted that cases of coronavirus infection were detected in SIZO No. 1 of Rostov-on-Don, where they are being held. At the same time, medical care is not provided to prisoners: neither as a preventive measure, nor in case of illness.
