
Maya Sandu won the election of the President of Moldova, gaining 57.75% of the vote. This was reported by the deputy head of the CEC Vladimir Sharban after processing 100% of the protocols, TASS reports .
“57.74% cast their votes for the candidate Maya Sandu and 42.26% cast their votes for independent candidate Igor Dodon. It remains to wait for data from the last polling station to Sacramento, but they cannot affect the results, ”said Sharban.
According to him, the elections passed with a high turnout - 52%. The current president Igor Dodon received 42.2% of the vote. Sharban said that this is preliminary data that are collected using the automated CEC system. The final results will be summed up after the physical receipt of the protocols from the election commissions. The CEC has five days to summarize the results that must be transferred to the Constitutional Court.
