The supply of water to the residents of Simferopol from Tuesday will be limited by four hours due to the critical situation with the filling of reservoirs in the Crimea, Interfax reports with reference to the GUP “Water Crimea”.
From November 17, the following water supply schedule is introduced: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6.00 to 8.00 and from 18.00 to 20.00; Friday, Saturday, Sunday - from 18.00 to 22.00. The water supply schedule on Monday will be determined within a week during the testing process.
In the past few months, the water in most areas of Simferopol was supplied six hours a day - three in the morning and three in the evening. Residents also complained that the water was rusty or black.
In August, in Simferopol and another 39 settlements they introduced graphs of water supply by watch. From September 23, the water began to be disconnected at night in the resort Alushta. The authorities of Sevastopol introduced an increased readiness regime due to a reduction in drinking water reserves in November.
Underwestern are observed in Crimea in 2019 and 2020 and, according to forecasts, can last in 2021. In October, the government submitted a plan for ensuring the water supply of Crimea, which is estimated at 48 billion rubles.
