The court terminated the case of the chairman of the Open Russia Anastasia Burakova due to the laying of flowers to the COP building in St. Petersburg

The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg terminated the administrative case of the chairman of the Open Russia Anastasia Burakova due to laying flowers to the building of the Constitutional Court. This was announced by the "MBH Media" lawyer of "Apology of Protest" Alexander Poruk.

“The case was terminated due to the lack of an administrative offense. She was charged with a violation of the public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), which was expressed in the fact that she laid flowers at the Supreme Court building, which, according to the police, was a single picket, ”he said.

Earlier, Burakov was found guilty of violating part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for picket) due to the fact that it brought carnations to the building of the Constitutional Court during the campaign against amendments to the Constitution.

The court fined the head of Open Russia for 10 thousand rubles. After that, the St. Petersburg City Court recognized this fine illegal and sent the case for a new consideration.

On March 15, about 20 people were detained against amendments to the Constitution.
