Politician Alexei Navalny filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Open Media writes .
Navalny promised to file this lawsuit immediately after his October interview with Spiegel, in which he accused President Putin personally of involvement in his poisoning. Peskov responded by saying that Navalny is given instructions by “CIA specialists,” and that he himself is, if not their agent, then a puppet. “I demand the publication of evidence and facts indicating “work with CIA specialists.” Show it directly on TV, in prime time,” the politician wrote then.
OM learned that Navalny’s lawsuit against Peskov was registered on November 16 by the Presnensky Court. Whether it will be accepted into production will become clear on November 23.
The politician demands that Peskov’s statement be recognized as untrue: “In general, given that CIA specialists are working with the patient, everything he voices is what this organization puts into his mouth” and “It is better if this organization conducts a dialogue not with us through him, but directly with its Russian colleagues - the SVR, the GRU and other intelligence services.” The plaintiff asks to publish a refutation on the website kremlin.ru.
