Kadyrov demanded to remove Marvel heroes from the walls of the children's center

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov instructed to remove images of the heroes of American films and comics Marvel from the walls of the children's game center in the city of Kurchal and replace them with national heroes.

As Kadyrov said on his page on the VKontakte social network, on Monday he visited a new residential high -altitude complex in Kurchalny and "made small adjustments to the design of children's playgrounds." The discontent of the head of Chechnya caused drawings on the walls of the gaming center in one of the buildings with the popular heroes of the Marvel universe by an iron man, Thor and Captain America.

“You need to remove the images of such fictional characters, these are fantasies. Put the photos of our real heroes. We have many real heroes in the history of religion and people, from which we can take an example, otherwise they think that only these exist,” said Kadyrov, who accompanied his officials.

Kurchal had previously been a district center with a population of over 26 thousand people. In 2019, by the decision of the Chechen parliament he was transformed into the city.

Earlier in Dagestan, on behalf of the acting head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, English -speaking signs were torn from stores.

Melikov was indignant at the fact that many cafes and shops in Dagestan are named after foreign cities, and even these names are written, as an official put it, "in Latin" and "in conditions when all evil comes from there." Melikov said that "such an advertisement does not meet any moral values."
