The Kislovodsk city court extended the arrest of seven defendants in the "Ingush case" for 6 months. This was announced by the lawyer of the defendants Bilan Dzugaev.
The arrest was extended for the leaders of the Ingush protest movement, whose case will be considered by the court on November 24: Akhmet Barakhoev, Musa Malsagov, Ismail Nalgiev, Zarifa Sautieva, Malsag Uzhakhov, Bagaudin Khautiev and Barakh Chemurziev. They are charged under articles on organizing dangerous violence against government officials (part 2 of article 318 with the application of part 3 of article 33 of the Criminal Code), on organizing an extremist community (part 1 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and participating in such a community (part 2 article 282.1 of the Criminal Code). Uzhakhov is also accused under the article on the creation of an NPO, whose activities induce citizens to illegal actions (part 2 of article 239 of the Criminal Code), and Barakhoev is accused of participating in such an NPO (part 3 of article 239 of the Criminal Code).
The term of arrest is counted from November 9, when the case went to court.
