Rector of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Viktor Sadovnichy said that about 30 million rubles will be allocated to support students, teachers and staff. It is reported by Interfax.

According to Sadovnichy, Moscow State University will pay 10,000 rubles each to bachelor's, specialist's, and master's students and those receiving state social scholarships. Support will also be provided to needy students who study at the university on a paid basis.

“I believe that this will make it possible to compensate for the possible costs associated with distance learning,” Sadovnichy believes.

According to the rector of Moscow State University, "graduate students and residents of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine, who are now working in the red zone" will also receive 20 thousand rubles. He also promised that the university would cover the expenses of out-of-town students who plan to return home during the increase in the incidence of coronavirus. In addition, “paying students” living in a hostel will be exempted from paying for accommodation from November 16 to February 6.
