Yevgeny Lazarev, a businessman and former deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, was summoned to the police because of a drawing on his bus. Lazarev thus demanded the resignation of the chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court. It is reported by Kommersant-Privolzhye.
The entrepreneur received a summons to the police department No. 7 (Sovetsky district) on December 25th. The police are planning to draw up a protocol under the article on organizing an action without notifying the authorities (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). In the subpoena, law enforcement officers indicated that on the bus hired by Lazarev, there was an image of the goddess Themis against the background of the building of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court, next to Themis there was an inscription "Temporarily not working." The police said that this collage "expresses a political call and a demonstration of political will to change the current judicial system in the Russian Federation."
The publication clarifies that in October, the police detained Lazarev's bus and placed it in a car impound.
