Perm and Voronezh are the most likely to be infected with coronavirus among large Russian cities - the risk of the disease is 15% higher than the national average. It is reported by RBC with reference to a study by SberIndex.
Experts predicted the risk of coronavirus infection using the free online service of the state bank Symptom-Checker, which allows the user to recognize dangerous symptoms and find out what form the disease will take.
The list of leaders from SberIndex also includes Irkutsk and Novosibirsk. However, residents of these cities are less likely to become infected than in Perm and Voronezh - the probability of getting sick is 7% higher than the average for Russia.
SberIndex recognized Moscow, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod as the least epidemiologically dangerous, the newspaper writes. In addition, there is a relatively low probability of contracting COVID-19 in Kazan, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Tyumen, Vladivostok and St. Petersburg.
Experts emphasize that due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, the service sector and tourism have been particularly hard hit. The population reduced spending to 2.7% compared to last year's figures (0.8% in September).
According to the operational headquarters, in Russia for the second day in a row a record for the incidence of COVID-19 is recorded - over the past day, the disease was detected in 24,318 people. Morbidity records were also updated in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
