
In Moscow, the former head of Khakassia, Viktor Zimin, had previously been diagnosed with Koronavirus. This was reported by the 19rus.info publication with reference to a source close to the environment of the former official.
Zimin died at five in the morning Moscow time. “The body could not cope with the severe form of pneumonia, the lungs could not stand it,” the publication said.
Before Zimin was identified by Covid-19, he was on a working visit in the Far East.
Zimin worked as deputy general director of Russian Railways, the head of the Directorate of Railway Development of the Eastern training ground.
Zimin was hospitalized in August after infection with coronavirus. In mid -September, it was reported that he fell to someone. Then officially the information was not confirmed. All this time he was in a military hospital in Moscow.
