The American Academy of Art and Sound Recording announced applicants for the most prestigious national musical award - the Grammy Award. The main surprise is the singer Beyoncé already in nine nominations. And this despite the fact that in 2020 she did not get a single album.

Beyoncé for twenty years in show business, she is a purely commercial artist, sales go off scale, but from the point of view of the art that the Academy is engaged in, there is essentially nothing to say about it. Well, yes, everything is super -quality, according to the rules of the industry, but, to be honest, no more. And the style of R N B, in which she began to work on stage, is now a deep retro. What happened? Why was she at the point of public attention?

And there was a BlacklivesMatter, which Beyoncé supported the Black Parade Megapopular Hit Single. This is a really important public event. And now the “black parade” is a step away from becoming the “Best Song of the Year” and “Best Record of the Year”. The song is really good, but she had better.

Then the protest will become a fact of mass culture, and not the destiny of an opposition ghetto, will reach those whom he had not previously worried.
