In Moscow, four defenders of the square on Ivan Franko Street were detained: Savely Rozhkov, Marina Sokolova, Vladimir Makhov and Alexei Buzov. This was reported to OVD-Info by other activists.

Two of the detainees held solo pickets, the rest were just nearby. The activists were taken to the police station in the Kuntsevo district, what exactly they are charged with is not yet known.

17:37 All the detainees were released with an obligation to appear on December 2. Buzov and Sokolova should be penalized under the article on violation of the procedure for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and against Rozhkov and Makhov - under the article on violation of the high alert regime (article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The detainees were advised by a senior lawyer at OVD-Info, Nadezhda Kuzina.

The Moscow authorities are planning to build up a park on Ivan Franko Street in the Kuntsevo district in order to reconstruct the northern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The construction of the route should be completed by December 2021. According to Moscow officials, this 11-kilometer toll highway will become a continuation of the Northern bypass road in the city of Odintsovo and will make it more comfortable to enter the M-1 Belarus highway, as well as improve transport accessibility of the Dorogomilovo, Fili-Davydkovo, Mozhaisky, Kuntsevo and Filevsky park.
