In Nizhny Novgorod they detained a participant in a single picket in support of Nikolai Platoshkin

In Nizhny Novgorod, the police, after a single picket, detained the supporter of the “For New Socialism” movement Larisa Dryuchin. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Another Nizhny", as well as the head of the regional "Memorial" Arkady Galker.

Dryucca advocated the cessation of the criminal prosecution of the leader of the movement “For New Socialism” by Nikolai Platoshkin. The picket participant was detained after the event was graduated and delivered to OP No. 5 of Nizhny Novgorod. A lawyer from the OVD-info Artem Nikitin went to her aid.

The police informed the picket participant that the detention was associated with the September action, but with which one is still unknown.

17:12 Dryuchin was detained due to single pickets in support of Nikolai Platoshkin, which took place on August 30, Arkady Galker said.

17:33 on the detainee drew up a protocol under the article on the public event without submitting a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), Galker reports.

At the moment, it is not known why the police considered Druchin the organizer of the action.

18:20 Participant of a single picket was released from the police department, reports Arkady Galker. For an unknown reason, an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism (CPE) came to the department.

• Due to the action on August 30, the court in Nizhny Novgorod has already fined a participant in a single picket Igor Kostin. The court then decided that the two pickets held on August 30 were “united by a single plan and a common organization”, which means they were a “inconsistent action”.
• Against the leader of the movement “New Socialism” and the party “Alternative for Russia (party of socialist choice)”, Nikolai Platoshkin opened two criminal cases. He is charged with the spread of knowingly false information about the circumstances that pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens (Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code) and the declination to the riots (part 1.1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code). At the moment, Platoshkin is under house arrest.
