Investigative actions were carried out from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.: the security forces cordoned off the area, and then, as the newspaper writes, conducted searches in several households, and also tried to get into the Mashra premises, the house of politician Ruslan Mutsolgov and the house of human rights activist Magomed Mutsolgov.

The security forces could not get into the houses of the Mutsolgovs, and they themselves were not there that day. Eyewitnesses told the "Caucasian Knot" that law enforcement officers knocked on the neighbors, asked about the Mutsolgovs, found out where they were.

Under what criminal case the searches were carried out is unknown. In a conversation with the "Caucasian Knot", Magomed Mutsolgov connected the pressure on "Mashr" with the instructions of the authorities of Ingushetia:

“I don’t know why the events were held and what interest the security forces have in our work. We have always been persecuted by law enforcement agencies only at the direction of the regional authorities. The power structures themselves have never had any claims either to our activities or to us in the legal field. Everyone knows that we are law-abiding residents of the republic who have been providing legal assistance for many years, being lawyers who themselves know the law well.”
