The personal doctor of Diego Maradona Leopoldo Luke in Argentina is charged with the uncertified murder of the legendary football player, Interfax reports citing the local agency Tlavam. He is suspected of medical negligence and leaving the patient without proper attention, who entailed the death of a person.

It is reported that the police searched in the house of Luke and his office. In particular, the investigation seized medical records, computers, cell phones and documentation, which is of interest to the case of "death as a result of unlawful actions." At the same time, a preventive measure has not yet been issued in relation to the doctor.

Also, representatives of the prosecutors talked with the close relatives of Diego, asking them about the events preceding the death of Maradona: his treatment in November, when he underwent surgery to remove a subdural hematoma.

It is possible that Maradona had no permission to leave the clinic where he had surgery. The prosecutor’s office is looking for answers to a number of questions, in particular, why did the specialist doctor on duty at Diego were on duty around the clock, whether the ex-football player had the necessary medicines, whether the medical protocols were respected, why there were no defibrillator.

The investigation is also conducted against the nurse of the Dayana Gisel Madrid, who lied during interrogation that at 07:30 in the morning she heard the sounds coming from the room of Maradona. It turns out whether she went to check the football player and whether he gave him all the necessary medicines.
