In December, in St. Petersburg museums and galleries you can see the hats of Philip Tracy, the nominees for the award of Sergei Kurekhin, the New Year's installation of the French designer and the photographs of Leningrad rock musicians.
"Paper" has chosen 16 expositions that should be paid attention to this month. Immersive project for one viewer
Independent space "shame" is located on the embankment of the buckle. The project is engaged in the artist Alexander Gart, art critic Yevgeny Kuzmichev and the curator of Alexander Generalov. All exhibitions of the site are immersive projects for one viewer. The work of the Krasnodar sculptor Vladimir Omutov and the Minsk artist Veronika Ivashkevich has already shown the work in the space, and the project of Alexandra Gart, combining techno-aesthetics and printed traditions of the Leningrad graphic school, prepared for the curatorial forum.

The famous hats of the Irish fashion designer
Philip Tracy is a famous designer and fashion designer, considered the main hatter of the world. The hats of his work are worn by many celebrities: from Madonna to representatives of the ruling dynasty of Great Britain. In his works, Tracy is experimenting with materials and concepts: some are made of plants and electrical appliances, others are made in the form of a horse head or ashtray. The new exhibition in Kgallery is dedicated to the collectors of Petrograd, Leningrad and St. Petersburg. Six -meter mirror spruce in the yard of MISP
The Frenchman Arno Lapierr in his works uses the optical effects of mirror material, his work was exhibited on San Marko Square in Venice, in front of the UNESCO building in Paris and in the area of the Shanghai Golden Triangle. For the Museum of Art of St. Petersburg, the XX-XXI centuries, the author created a six-meter structure of bilateral bright green mirror blocks. The object symbolizes the festive spruce, it will illuminate it from the inside: the audience looking at the “northern spruce” will see not only themselves, but also the reflection of the walls of buildings, the sky. The installation will be installed in the courtyard of the museum, the opening will be held on December 1.

Italian industry of the twentieth century in photographs
The Italian photographer Girolamo Bombelli worked in Lombardy between the 1920-1960s. Most of his archive are pictures of art objects, however, the author took pictures of other objects - for example, industrial buildings and factory workers. It is these pictures that will be exhibited at the Rosfoto Center. In the photographs of Bombelli you can see how Martini & Rossi, Pirelli, Bassetti and other industrial brands of Italy began their path in the market.

Performans in honor of the birthday of Marina Gisich Gallery
On December 4, the gallery on the Fontanka embankment marks 20 years. In honor of this, the site is opened by the HUB exhibition project, which grew out of the thought that the gallery is primarily its artists. Throughout the month, the authors working with Marina Gisich Gallery will hold a series of six -hour performances in space. Artists will engage in art, think, read, write or even sleep, and spectators will be able to watch them. Figurines and sculptural groups in the style of Art Deco

The Leningrad Rock Club was created in 1981 and quickly became the most important informal association of the city. The club members were participants in the legendary Soviet groups: Aquarium, Zoo, Kino, Alice, DDT. Until the 90s, Boris Grebenshchikov, Alexander Bashlachev, Viktor Tsoi and other musicians were photographed for the most part, their friends and enthusiasts-for example, Andrey (Willie) Usov, Valentin Baranovsky and Joanna Stingrey . History of Venice in engravings and painting
The predecessor of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg - the Museum of the City - was actively engaged in the study of the World Urban Planning and Urbanic Culture. Art project inspired by Evgeny Zamyatin's novel
The exhibition of Alexander Nikolenko is based on the famous novel by Evgeny Zamyatin “We”. The artist understands new technologies and social changes, starting from Zamyatinsky anti -utopia: Nikolenko portraits depict the heroes of the novel. The paintings are made in the technique of oil painting, combine organic and mechanistic motifs.
