The proposed topics inspired students to conduct quite adult, serious research. One of the nominations of the competition was devoted to the analysis of the consumer properties of plant meat. The authors studied materials about the influence of classical livestock on the ecology. In particular, the production of plant cutlets prevents the formation of greenhouse gases, helps to save electricity, land and water resources. In addition, the introduction of plant analogues into the diet instead of meat products has a beneficial effect on the human body: reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and has a positive effect on digestion.

Immediately after the award ceremony, a smack tournament was held under the command of the owner of the first Kulinar school in Novosibirsk Sergey Borodin. Students of different faculties of NSTU NETI tried themselves as a chef and created copyright dishes: salads, desserts and plant burgers.
