Anatoly Chubais leaves the post of head of the state corporation Rosnano. Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to head Rosnano to Sergey Kulikov, deputy chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission, Interfax reports.

“Sergey Alexandrovich, you know that you are invited to head one of our largest development structures, Rusnano. Without any exaggeration, this is one of the key areas of development not only for Russia, but for the entire global economy,” Putin said during a video conference with Kulikov.

What Anatoly Chubais, who headed Rosnano, will do, has not yet been announced.

• Anatoly Chubais has headed Rosnano since 2008. In the fall of 2020, the media, citing sources, reported that Chubais would step down as head of the state corporation and get a new position. Rosnano denied the change of leadership.
