The Murmansk governor Andrei Chibis leaves no attempt to become the lord of heavenly luminaries and atmospheric phenomena. This winter, he decided to streamline the interaction of the upper atmosphere with charged particles of the solar wind - in other words, polar radiance. At the International Arctic Forum “Days of the Arctic and Antarctic in Moscow”, Chibis said: “Until December 15, in all key points where the northern lights are most often, road signs will be specially installed so that no one would get confused and knew where to go and look.”
In this bold statement, Andrei Vladimirovich, what to say, demonstrated a state -scale thinking. After all, before you just leave the house, looking - people rush around in search of the northern lights. They are looking for - and it know for yourself walks around the sky. Also, in general, rushes, not ordered and chaotic. And why? Because there were not enough road signs in Murmansk.
Now it will be a completely different matter. True, it is not entirely clear what frequency the signs will be arranged with. Because the radiance is in the sky. The task is to indicate to him that it is necessary to show exclusively above the street, say, Lenin, where the office of the regional government is located, of course, ambitious, but here's the trouble: the flashes play throughout the sky. Entering this anarchist entity into the framework of traffic rules is a task worthy of a state -owned planetary scale. True, it resembles an episode from the "little prince":
- And the stars will obey you? The little prince asked.
“Well, of course,” the king answered. - The stars obey instantly. I do not tolerate disobedience.
Andrei Chibis is not the first day the unequal battle with the arrangement of the world behind the polar circle. A year and a half ago, having arrived in the Murmansk region, he stated that he would defeat the polar night, setting the artificial sun on the mountain. The surprised population reached out to the polling stations - but the year has passed, but there is still no sun.
The next polar night, by the way, came at the latitude of Murmansk exactly December 1, obeying its schedule, not agreed with the Yellow House, as the people of the regional government are popularly called. So while Chibis loses 1: 0.

And not only climate, but also geography. At the same Arctic Forum, he stated that during the nearest New Year holidays between Murmansk and Kirovsky, where the ski resort is located, a special train “Ski -arrow” train will run. In four hours, it will be possible to get to the ski slopes, and the train will be specially equipped specifically for the transportation of skis. The governor also announced the schedule: on Friday evening - from Murmansk, on Sunday evening - back. The news is amazing, and not only because officially Kirovsk has been closed to those who come because of the coronavirus since March.
Locals have long been asking for the power to cancel the passes-the incidence there is no higher than in other cities of the region, but the prohibitions introduced on the crest of the first wave have long been canceled everywhere, except for Kirovsk and neighboring apatites (these are satellite cities, the road to them is one). In response, silence, and evil languages say that the decisions here are not made by the governor at all, but the head of the city -forming enterprise - the daughter of Fosagro.
But, for example, for the New Year, the Kirovites in the midst of the second wave will make a “gift” and open a city for tourists.
But how to let a train there when there is not even a station in Kirovsk? The passenger message has been stopped since 1996.
More precisely, there is a station, but these are ruins. According to the city legend, a huge building with a restaurant and other excesses was built by mistake, confusing Kirovsk, Murmansk region and Kirovsk in the Leningradskaya region. This, of course, is a legend, but the dead station has been attracting only lovers of Tresh and post -apocalypse for more than a decade. However, God with him, with the station, but the rails have been dismantled for a long time ...

If something clearly went wrong with the radiance and train, there is still the opportunity not to hit the mud in the mud in an attempt to make a tourist center from the industrial Murmansk region. The other day, Monnogor Olegorsk, whose life is built around the GOK and iron ore mining, was declared the homeland of Morozko. The city was applied to a certain “fairy -tale map of Russia” on the basis that in its environs, Alexander Rowe shot the famous fairy tale.
The name of the project cannot but delight with its accuracy: the more you observe the news of the regions, the more you are convinced: the fairy -tale map of the country is our parallel reality in which officials live. In the end, recently, another single -industry in the Murmansk region - Kovdor - was completely seriously declared the "capital of Hyperborea."

It used to be there from the sights only a quarry in the middle of the city and flower beds in the coat tires, and now - also pseudo -magical labyrinths and tincture on the lamb. True, life, however, has not yet become especially - there was no maternity hospital, you can’t get to the hospital, with the work of trouble ... But this is in that, boring reality. And in the parallel - Hyperborea!
So Olenegorsk also has a chance. True, a few years earlier, the Nizhny Novgorod village of Barnavino was already announced, but something, and the determination of the fairy tale was enough for everyone.
