And now - even if neither Lavrov, nor Naryshkin, nor Putin are offended - all of them, after meetings with a retired tyrant, look ordinary simpletons, which is to deceive - well, just a charitable deed.

Previously, during such meetings, Lukashenko swore readiness to protect an ally from the NATO troops, who already clang with a weapon somewhere near Brest (“It’s not the blacks in the camouflage that climbed the towers there!” And “NATO soldiers are black-skinned and blonde”-his literary quotes about the enemy troops near Brest), and completed that the Belorusses were Beloruss "The same Russians, only with a sign of quality." Now Lukashenko no longer scares the Russians in camouflage and Belarusians with a quality mark. Rather, it scares, of course, but rather out of habit - as, for example, on December 2 at a meeting of the CSTO Council, where he seriously claimed that NATO was preparing the capture of the Western territories of Belarus. I even know what kind of territory this is the same Veinthia, which the Belarusian military was invented during the West-2017 exercises in order to heroically protect it from the NATO attack with the Russians.

But the main topic of public performances and trusting stories during meetings in one -on -one format has now changed. Today, Lukashenko of each counter assures that he has almost left, that he is already stomping in the hallway in search of a hat, and will never participate in the elections again, and no one will ever see it, but finally it is necessary to carry out constitutional reform. And they all peck at it like a crucian carp. Although they could recall how many different things this person promised in twenty -six years - both Europe, Russia, and the Belarusian people - and how cleverly he knows how to pull time. Actually, I did not learn anything else - to pull the time and let out the riot police from the chain. But if the surrounding world stopped allowing him the first, then the second would scatter on its own, like a gypsum pioneer.

And now the same thing happens.

Talking about constitutional reform against the backdrop of mass repressions is absurd. Anyone who exposes thousands of people torture has no right to talk about constitutional reform.

Adequate partners would tell him to “close your mouth” to this, and would not retire in Moscow his words about the imminent care after the reform. Because any reforms and even conversations on this topic begin with the cessation of torture and the release of political prisoners. But Lukashenko is not going to free anyone at all. He just takes time again.

Remember how in October he came to the KGB pre -trial detention center. For four hours he reasoned before the political prisoners of constitutional reform. He promised that the next time he would meet with them already in the Independence Palace (this is the same residence over which he flew by helicopter with a gun). The fact that the prisoners were kept in "glasses" without food and drinking, while Lukashenko leisurely had breakfast with buns in front of the TV, everyone forgot. The main thing that he met and promised, which means that it is possible to tolerate inconvenience for the sake of freedom and reform. And this is what it turned out for presidential candidates, for which, undoubtedly, all this was started.

Sergey Tikhanovsky on November 29 was charged. This time is especially difficult, part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (inciting racial, national, religious or other social enmity or growth committed by a group of persons or entailed by negligence the death of a person or other serious consequences), from 5 to 12 years in prison. This is the third charge. The first two - under Articles 342 (the organization of actions grossly violating public order) and 191 (obstructing the work of the Central Election Commission) - belong to the category of less serious, and the term of the investigation on them should not exceed six months. That is how much Sergei Tikhanovsky, arrested on May 29, had already spent in jail. So Sergey would have to be released from custody-even without an invitation to the Palace of Independence. But now, with a new charge, and the investigation period begins to count in a new way. The Code of Criminal Procedure provides for a year and a half of the investigation on charges of especially serious crimes. By the way, no one led no investigative actions with Tikhanovsky. It is clear that the task of all this pile of criminal articles is not at all to conduct an investigation, but simply to pull the time.

The situation is different with Viktor Babariko, although the scheme is the same. The investigation in his case is officially completed. The official statement of the KGB of Belarus of November 24 states that “to the organizer of criminal activity, the former chairman of the board of Belgazprombank OJSC, Viktor Babariko, was charged with committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 430 and part 2 of article 235 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus on the facts of receiving bribes by an organized group on an especially large scale, as well as the legalization (“laundering”) of funds received by criminal means on an especially large amount, respectively ”. In the “organized group of recipients of bribes”, except for Babarico himself, six of his deputies. All defendants, according to the KGB press release, fully pleaded guilty, with the exception of Victor Babariko. Now the accused get acquainted with the case file.

Article 430 is especially heavy, from 5 to 15 years in prison. And here the Code of Criminal Procedure gives a huge temporary resource. To get acquainted with the case - a month. Then - two weeks at the prosecutor who will send the case to court. The judge has a month to familiarize themselves, then it may be another month from the moment the decision was issued on the appointment of the trial until the determination of its date. Total - three more and a half months. Until the spring equinox, count. And there - either the donkey will speak, or he will die. Yes, and the trial can be calmly started, given the confession of the deputies of Babariko.

Such courts can last a year and a half. In our situation, this is infinity.

During this time, you can come up with 400 more relatively honest ways to withdraw money from Russia and the same number of ways to withdraw life and freedom from Belarusians.

The other day, in some Belarusian media there were “stuffing” about the fact that Sergei Lavrov allegedly came in order to bargain freedom for Victor Babariko, who would immediately leave for Cyprus. And Babariko every day during working hours gets acquainted with the case file with his lawyer Dmitry Laevsky. You can keep it behind bars for a very long time, the formalities are observed.
