In Moscow, authorities plan to vaccinate up to seven million people against coronavirus. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, Interfax writes .

“We must vaccinate six to seven million people in the future, and such a machine cannot be rolled out right away. And gradually we need to get into this, and work out both the mechanisms of digital recording and the logistics of the movement of the cold chain - delivery, storage,” Sobyanin said.

According to Rosstat, 12.6 million people live in Moscow.

On December 4, an electronic registration for vaccination against coronavirus opened in Moscow for workers in education, healthcare and city social services. They will be given the drug Sputnik V, developed by the Gamaleya Center.

When going for vaccination, residents of the capital need to take a passport, compulsory medical insurance policy and a document that confirms the fact of work in the relevant industry or organization, for example, a certificate from the place of work. City authorities can verify the accuracy of this information.

On December 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to begin large-scale vaccination against coronavirus next week. The country, according to Putin, has produced about two million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine. According to the operational headquarters, vaccination will be free and voluntary.
