In the Velikoluksky district of the Pskov region, on December 6, police detained five observers and journalists because of filming at a polling station. This is written in the community “Observers of St. Petersburg for Fair Elections” on VKontakte.
The reason for the detention was the refusal of journalists and observers to stop filming at polling station No. 432 at the request of members of the precinct election commission (PEC).
“Apparently, the policeman who was on duty at the station reported the incident to the authorities, and after 20:00 the authorities delivered the crew of observers to the department under escort (two cars in front, one in the back). The police officers behaved extremely correctly and politely, but nevertheless, all the observers were removed from the site and no one could remain for the count, ”the community writes.
It is not known which police department the detainees were taken to. According to Sever.Realii , by midnight on December 6, four detainees were released, the last detainee at that time still remained in the police department. OVD-Info could not be contacted: his phone number is unavailable.
