Ukhta: Three employees were fined after a fire at a refinery
The City Court of Ukhta terminated the proceedings on the criminal case against three employees of the oil refinery LLC Lukoil-Ukhtanefteaspay. The head of the section of the enterprise, the head of the workshop and his deputy was accused of violation of the requirements, which, by negligence, caused serious harm to human health and major damage. The case was opened after a fire at the refinery in January of this year. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the court.
The court appointed employees legal fines in the amount of 120 to 160 thousand rubles. During the investigation, the accused pleaded guilty and compensated the victim to damage caused taking into account compensation for non -pecuniary damage.
- The fire, which was accompanied by explosures, occurred in the evening of January 9 at the oil refinery of the company "LUKOIL-UKHTANEFT READING" in Ukhta. One person suffered. Production was damaged in the amount of more than 55 million rubles.
