
Six boys and ten girls aged eight to 12 years, as well as their two coaches received poisoning in pairs of chlorine during a class in the Bashkir city of Uchly, the press service of the regional State Emergencies Ministry on Wednesday said.
The victims felt the malaise and pungent smell of chlorine. They were able to go outside on their own. Four children were taken to the Uchilinsky hospital for inspection. Then they were released home for outpatient treatment in satisfactory condition, Interfax reports. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, the victims diagnosed poisoning in pairs of chlorine.
In turn, the regional department of the IC of the Russian Federation reported the start of the audit under an article on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements (part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
On December 7, 32 people were hospitalized from the Dynamo basin in Astrakhan with acute chlorine poisoning, most of whom are children, including five -year -olds. Several people fell into intensive care. All of them were engaged in swimming in the sports complex. According to the head of the Ministry of Emergencies in the region, the chlorine content in the water of the pool was exceeded 25 times. The Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin said that the pool will be closed before the end of the year, "So far we will not be convinced of its safety by one hundred percent."
