Six people died during the testing of a vaccine developed jointly by the American company Pfizer and the German Biontech. This is stated in a document published on the website of the Office on the Quality of Food and Medicines (FDA) of the USA.

"During the reporting period, there were six deaths (two deaths in the vaccinated group, four in the placebo group)," the document prepared for the FDA meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday. One of those who received the vaccine was sick with atherosclerosis and obesity and died three days after the administration of the first dose of the drug. The other participant had a heart stop 60 days after the introduction of the second dose after him, his death was recorded another three days later.

In the placebo group, two people died of a stroke and heart attack, the cause of death was not established. Half of the dead in all groups was over 55 years old.
