Actor Valentin Gaft died

Actor Valentin Gaft died. This was announced by his wife Olga Ostroumova.

Gaft was 85 years old. In the summer of 2019, he suffered a stroke.

Gaft will be buried in the Troekurovsky cemetery on December 15. Before that, the Contemporary Theater will host a farewell ceremony.

• During his career, Gaft played roles in more than 100 films. Among them are “garage”, “Lit the word about the poor hussar”, “Seventeen moments of spring”, “Hello, I am your aunt!”, “Sorcerers”, “12”.
• GAFT spent most of the theater career at the Contemporary. He also played in the performances at the Moscow Drama Theater at Malaya Bronnaya, the Mossovet Theater, Lenkome, and the Satire Theater.
• Valentin Gaft - People's Artist of the RSFSR, Kavalier of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II, III and IV degree.
