Are Russian vaccines safe and effective?
It is impossible to talk about the effectiveness and safety of vaccines based on personal preferences or based on the reputation of the developer. The only indicator is the published documents that provide data on the results of all phases of clinical tests.

According to the “satellite V” there is a publication in a good reviewed journal The Lancet according to the results of the first and second phases, during which the safety of the vaccine and its effectiveness are checked, but not in terms of protection against infection, but according to the results of tests for the production of antibodies and cellular immunity. According to this publication, the introduction of the "satellite V" did not give serious side effects, and the volunteers developed markers of the immune response. At the same time, it should be noted that in the first two phases of the tests significantly fewer volunteers participated - the full course of the vaccine that people would be introduced received by only 22 people.
Everyone would be calmer if the tests passed on a major number of volunteers.
As for the effectiveness, the manufacturer of the "satellite V" is declared at the level of 95%. This means that a vaccinated person has 95% less likely to become infected than the unvaccinated.
One can only say about the Epivakcorone vaccine that it has not yet been published documentation that the expert community could evaluate.

Is it possible to get involved in a domestic vaccine, and later foreign?
There is no data on how vaccines interact. The person who decides to conduct an experiment on himself. This is not as safe as it may seem. I would not do that.
It is known that the developers of the "satellite V" offered the developers of another vaccine, Astrazeneca, to conduct such studies. And representatives of Astrazeneca agreed. But while these studies have not been conducted and their results have not been published, all attempts by patients to combine vaccines will be at their own peril and risk.
To whom is vaccination categorically contraindicated?
There are very few such people. These are, first of all, those who, due to the features of the work of the immune system, develop anaphylactic reactions to the introduction of foreign components. People usually know about the presence of such reactions in their own way, because they manifest themselves with the vaccinations that are made in childhood. It is precisely because of the likelihood of such reactions that patients are asked to sit half an hour after vaccination in the corridor in order to stop in case of their manifestation. People whose body reacts so much to vaccinations cannot be vaccinated, and we protect them with collective immunity.
People with autoimmune diseases, with immunodeficiencies, pregnant and lactating women, the elderly need to wait until clinical trials will be carried out in which these groups of people will be included. Before that, we cannot be sure whether the vaccines are safe for them and what an effective dose is - for example, for the elderly it is often more.

Do I need to refuse alcohol?
About the ban on drinking 42 days said the Deputy Prime Minister Golikov. Then <Director NICEM named after Gamaley> Ginzburg said that it was necessary to refrain only three days. At the same time, the instructions for the vaccine are not said about the restrictions on alcohol.
Probably, recommendations regarding alcohol - from the series "Beat out".
But in this case, they reduce the motivation of people to vaccinate and rather harm. For many, the restriction of 42 days is impossible, and people will be afraid to vaccinate, because they sometimes drink a bottle of beer or a glass of wine.
I have antibodies. Is it possible to vaccinated?
The tests of the “satellite V” were carried out only in public, who, according to the results of the tests, had no antibodies. Therefore, according to the mind, now it is also possible to vaccinate only to those who are absent. This does not mean that vaccination for those who have already met with the virus is necessarily dangerous - but while its safety is not shown, there can be no confidence in this.
Pfizer, by the way, conducted the tests of vaccines in people with antibodies. No differences in reaction to vaccination with people without antibodies were found.

Made an injection - throwing a mask?
Increased people must continue to observe restrictive measures, because the formation of full immunity requires 21 days after the introduction of the second dose. In addition, even after this time, restrictive measures must be observed at least for the sake of others.
We do not know if the infection prevents the vaccine.
If not, then a person can become infected, but thanks to the vaccine to transfer the disease asymptomatic. Moreover, he will be a carrier of the virus and can infect unvaccinated, including from risk groups.
What will happen if you do not get a second dose of "satellite"?
According to documents published in The Lancet, partial immunity is formed after the first dose of the vaccine. But for reliability, you still need to get a second dose.
If you refuse the second dose, it is not known how long immunity will remain. In fairness, we do not know how long it remains and after the introduction of two doses. But after a full course, it should be more stable.
