The court refused to block the website of the human rights project Gulagu.net

The Khoroshevsky District Court rejected the claim of Roskomnadzor, which demanded to block the website of the human rights project Gulagu.net. Roskomnadzor appealed to the court at the request of the Federal Penitentiary Service. This is reported by MBH Media with reference to the lawyer Alexander Khrapov.

“We work as a team there, one of our lawyers was involved. There was a long meeting. The party that filed the lawsuit spoke negatively about the human rights activist. Before speaking, we studied all the grounds, chose the position of the defense, and taking into account our arguments, the court ruled to dismiss the claim of Roskomnadzor at the request of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The party can file a complaint while we are waiting for a decision in writing,” Khrapov said.

According to MBKh Media, Anatoly Rudy, deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, personally demanded to block the site.
