On December 16, users of the Telegram messenger from different countries reported on failures in the service, because of which they cannot connect to the messenger to send or read messages.

Judging by the notes in social networks, the malfunctions in the work of the messenger arose at about 16 hours 10 minutes Moscow time. According to the Downdetector website, which collects data on large services, TELEGRAM problems are experienced by users from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France, Spain and other European countries. Some complaints account for users from the USA, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and some other countries.

Soon, Telegram reported that they know about the problem and work on the elimination of problems. The company apologized to users for the inconvenience and specified that the problems, the cause of which are not specified, affected mainly users from Europe and the Middle East.
