In the meantime, the situation is this: CAS, who considered the lawsuit of Rusad to Wada, whose executive committee lasted the decision to remove Russia from the largest international competitions for four years with a number of other restrictions, took the side of the anti -doping Inquisition, but reduced the withdrawal period to two years - specifically until December 16, 2022.

Russian athletes will be able to go to the Olympic Games in Tokyo-2021 and Beijing-2022 only in neutral status, without a flag and anthem-as, in fact, was in Pyeongchang-2018.

At the same time, not everyone has managed to prove their non -involvement in doping violations that not everyone has succeeded before Pyeongchang.

In addition, Russia does not have the right to conduct competitions of the level of world championships - except for cases if it manages to prove that transferring to another country for good reasons is impossible. The restrictions do not concern football, therefore, the matches of the transferred Euro 2020, if it takes place according to the previous scheme, will not be taken from St. Petersburg-as well as the final of the Champions League-2022. Vada, of course, remained displeased that CAS has gone by half the proposed period, but still "this is still the most stringent set of restrictions ever imposed on any country for offenses related to doping."

Sorry for pure athletes who may not be able to fulfill the dream of your whole life? Of course, it’s a pity. And those who provided such a fate will pour crocodile tears, cursing the machinations of the West, and seeing exclusively a political background in an unprecedented New Year's bath of Russian sport.

Politics here is only that the state, which forcing sport to be heard, itself provokes negative manifestations. What they deserved, they received, no matter how regrettable.
