The sports arbitration court (CAS) softened the sanctions of the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA) against Russia. This was reported on the official website of the court.

In December 2019, CAS for four years deprived Russia of the right to apply for and hold already appointed international tournaments, and Russian athletes to speak under the national flag.
