
Russian athletes reduced Ban to participate in international tournaments under the national flag, and also allowed to write “Russia” on form
The sports arbitration court (CAS) softened the sanctions of the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA) against Russia. This was reported on the official website of the court.
The decision became part of the sanctions against Russia as part of the case of falsification of samples of athletes in the database of the Moscow Anti -Doping Laboratory. In December 2019, CAS for four years deprived Russia of the right to apply for and hold already appointed international tournaments, and Russian athletes to speak under the national flag. The Russian Anti -Doping Agency (Rusada) was recognized as the non -relevant WADA rules. Visiting world sporting events (not worldwide, but international championships, for example, the European Cup - did not count) “representatives of the Russian government and other officials” without specifying specific positions.
