Irina Antonova died on November 30. She has been working in the PHMI since 1945, since 1961 she was the director of the museum, in 2013 became his president.
In early December, the Plane sent to the Ministry of Culture a proposal to perpetuate the memory of Irina Antonova. Among them, the appropriation of her name of one of the buildings of the museum quarter under construction, the creation of the International Research Center, as well as the creation of a memorial space for memory of the museum directors.
