The authorities of St. Petersburg will pay large families of the city to 3 thousand rubles for each child to buy gifts for the New Year. This was announced by the chairman of the Committee on Social Policy, Alexander Rzhannkov, writes TASS.

According to Rzhaninkov, 152 thousand children out of 47 thousand large families will receive payments. He noted that in order to receive money “go anywhere”, the database already has all the necessary information. Payments will be made over the next days, the head of the committee added.
