In the Kaliningrad region, a criminal case was opened due to the registration of an orphan in a non-existent house, the senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Kaliningrad region Irina Ivoninskaya told Severa.
As the prosecutor's office found out, officials of the Neman city district prescribed the pupil of the orphanage Alina Ermolenko, and then her newborn son in a non -existent house. Once, at 65 Sovetskaya, in Neman was the house of Alina’s mother, who completely burned down in 2013. Now it's just a field on the outskirts of the city.
"At present, Ermolenko and her young child are registered at this address, although this house does not actually exist. Employees of the administration of the Neman city district of appropriate measures were not taken from among the orphans. In addition, Ermolenko was provided for the residence of the premises of the maneuvering fund, which did not meet the requirements for housing," the Ivoninskaya.
According to Ivoninskaya, the materials of the prosecutor’s audit in November were sent to the Investigative Committee, which instituted a criminal case of negligence. There are no specific suspects in the case.
Alina Ermolenko herself turned to the prosecutor’s office due to the fact that the Neman authorities refused to provide her with housing. Free housing from the state according to the law should be provided to graduates of orphanages after they reach the age of 18, if they do not have their own home. Instead of a free apartment, officials gave Ermolenko a room in a maneuvering fund - an old hostel without amenities, with fleas and rats. Here Alina lives with a two -year -old son.
Now in the queue for housing, which is formed by the Ministry of Social Policy of the region, Ermolenko 677.
