Entrepreneurs of Blagoveshchensk asked Putin protect against local authorities

In Blagoveshchensk, entrepreneurs wrote a collective letter to President Vladimir Putin. In it, they complain about the actions of local authorities, who decided to sell the municipal market in the midst of a pandemic. Entrepreneurs informed the Siberia correspondent. Reals that they are afraid to lose their business and income, as well as be in debt due to the inability to pay loans.

They compared the sale of the market with the crime and called the actions of the authorities "raider seizure." More than 70 trading pavilions are located on the market, most employees - pre -retirement age. For many, market trade is the only source of income. In the case of the closure of the market, over 100 employees will remain without jobs. Workers and entrepreneurs are worried that due to loss of income they will have nothing to feed their children and provide older relatives.

A week earlier, an initiative group of entrepreneurs of 5 people was called to the city administration. Officials informed them that in late January - early February, the market would be put up for auction. “We were recommended to look for other places. To my questions, how can I be - I was offered to get the profession of a brick on the labor exchange and go to work,” Lyudmila Bulatova said, an entrepreneur working in the municipal market.

According to her, the authorities offered the business alternative sites, but the rental cost is higher. At the same time, the proposed site is three times smaller in area, which means that some of the merchants do not have enough space.

The decision to sell the market right now officials explained the need to replenish the budget of Blagoveshchensk. The Law on the Elimination of Unitary Enterprises, to which the market belongs, takes up to 5 years to the procedure.

"Putin talks about the support of small business during the pandemic from the TV, but by its actions, the authorities forces us to take a poster and go with a picket to the government. And what else remains? Many of us even took loans to business," the entrepreneur Elena Elena Grigoryevna said.

The lease agreements of businessmen with the administration of Blagoveshchensk were concluded until the end of 2021. However, the document has a item that allows the authorities to terminate it at any time, warning the tenant in 10 days.
