Dangerous ties of the leadership of the REU named after Plekhanov

The Investigative Committee of Russia only this year saw a connection between deliberate bankruptcy in Mordovia and the activities of the leadership of the G.V. Plekhanov. Dissernet has been studying the connections of figures from Plekhanovka and universities of Mordovia and the Saratov region for several years.

On August 4, the vice -rector of Moscow State University Alexei Grishin, who had previously worked as the Minister of Construction of the Samara Region, the son of Viktor Grishin, and the rector of Plekhanovka, was detained on August 4. The criminal case against the rector is associated with developmental activities in Mordovia. At the end of August, Grishin Sr. quit.

It is unlikely that there will be at least one university in Russia that could be suspected of so many types of academic violations more than Plekhanovka. More than 350 people work at this university and its branches who allowed incorrect borrowing in their dissertations (articles) or, as a scientific director or official opponents, presented positive conclusions on dissertations with “copy -paste” - the evidence of this is posted on the Dissernet website [ 1 ]. According to these data, the Plekhanovka can be called the number one university in Russia in the number of plagiators and dissodels, and by the number of fake dissertations protected at the university and its units (the Pleshka, along with its Saratov branch, in our opinion, 219 pieces) REU named after Plekhanova takes fourth place in the general Federal Security University.

Based on the same data, it can be assumed that in terms of plagiarism in scientific articles, Pleshka with 114 written -off articles will again come in first place. Also, the first place, according to the report of the Russian Academy of Sciences on countering the falsification of scientific research [ 2 ], the Plekhanovka occupies the translated plagiarism: 37 times, Pleshka employees took other people's texts, transferred them and gave them a rubbish for their own original research.

According to the aforementioned report by the Academy of Sciences, in third place Pleshka - in the number of publications in the so -called predatory foreign magazines, that is, those where they publish any nonsense for your money: Pleshka have about 1300 such publications. In the first and second places, respectively, Kazan (Volga) Federal and Russian State Social Universities.

Now let's ask the question: who brought this university to such a state? His patron saint Georgy Valentinovich Plekhanov? Foreign agents? Circumstances?

The pursuit of the false prestige in “garbage” foreign magazines, by oversight included in the International Scopus and Web of Science International Scientific Systems, began recently - in 2013-2014. And different universities reacted differently to this trend: someone tried to publish high-quality articles, and someone raised a wave of fake science.

As follows from the cited report of the RAS Commission, the rector Grishin and the four more “scientists” unsophisticatedly translated into English [ 3 ] the article “How does labor migration affect the economy of labor recipients?” An employee of the Higher School of Modern Social Sciences of Moscow State University Alexander Grebenyuk and published it in the International journal of International Journal of Supply Chain Management , indexed in Scopus, thereby earned publication points.

Another thing is much more interesting - the possible existence of a network of mutual assistance of unscrupulous dissertations, the nodes of which could be in Plekhanovka and the Higher Attestation Commission. The circumstances of specific cases indicate signs of coordination, which, from our point of view, could hardly be carried out without the knowledge of the leadership of these organizations.

For many years, Feesbashnikov for many years was popular to protect the dissertations of the FSUE “Standinform”, about which the participants of Dissernet wrote a lot (see, for example, publications in Novaya Gazeta [ 4 , 5 ], as well as a series of articles in the TRV-NAUKA [ 6 ]). The closure of the standard formmous “factory” in 2017 is one of the major achievements of our project [ 7 ]. We did not stop there and decided to seek deprivation of the degrees of all “pets” of the standard form, not protected by the “statute of limitations”: several dozen statements for final sanitation were submitted to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. And most often, the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission for Economic Sciences launched statements either to the Plekhanovka branch-the Saratov Socio-Economic Institute (L. A. Chudakov, T. B. Ershov, S. M. Dorofeev), or to the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarva (V. N. Shcheblykin, V. A. Konovalov, V.V. Chelyabi).

Some of the dissociates in which statements were sent were reproduced in their conclusions by fragments of the same lengthy text, written by “specialists” of the standard form in order to justify plagiators [ 8 ].

Particularly distinguished [ 9 ] in the salvation of the Standtinformers, the Plekhanovsky Disval District D 212.196.14, revived from the infamous Saratov Council D 212.241.02, in the track record of which 78 dissertations: Dissernet found borrowing dubious correctness [ 10 ]. During 2019, D 212.196.14 defended from the claims of Dissernet those who acquired dissertations with such borrowings at the FSUE “Standinform”.

The second violin in the preservation of scientific degrees to customers to standard forms was played by the Disarticulate D 212.117.05 Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogaryova. It is noteworthy that both councils (Plekhanovsky and Mordovsky) include Natalya Vasilievna Zlobina - the defendant in the "diss of Russian universities" [ 11 ].

Once again: different people whose affairs were considered by different people justified the same "conclusions of the dissertation council." Does this mean that someone from the outside sent this text to Plekhanovka and other universities, and they passed it down for the result of their analytical work?
