Plastic windows appeared on the territory of Russia not so long ago - only two decades ago, but such a short period of time did not prevent them from taking their lead in the market. Wooden windows are becoming less and less common, because plastic analogues have much more advantages.

There is no need to do this with plastic products, because they are sealed, that is, they do not let cold air in from outside and do not let warm air out of the room.   If we take simple plastic windows, they are much cheaper than their wooden and aluminum counterparts.
• Long service life.
  Since they are not exposed to various atmospheric influences, they can last for several decades, if not more.

There are the following types of double-glazed windows according to the number of chambers:

• Single-chamber.
  They have two glasses and one air cavity between them. Such windows do not retain heat well, so they are installed only in non-residential premises, balconies, loggias and cottages. Among the advantages are low cost, light weight and good light transmittance.
• Two-chamber.
  They have three glasses and two air cavities. It is this type that is most often installed in residential premises, because they retain heat well, have good soundproofing properties and do not cost much more than the previous option. They transmit less light, but this is invisible to the human eye.
• Three-chamber.
  They have four glasses and three air cavities. Used only in places with extremely cold climates and high noise levels. They have a lot of weight, which accelerates the wear of window fittings and reduces its service life, and also transmits significantly less light.
