The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court rejected an appeal against house arrest to businessman Anatoly Bykov, who is currently in jail. This was reported by the press service of the court.
On December 3, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court extended Bykov's house arrest until January 4, 2021. At the same time, in October he was sent into custody in a pre-trial detention center. The lawyers appealed against house arrest, because "the decision to apply a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest has not actually entered into force and is not being enforced, and there is no point in its further extension." The Regional Court denied this.
On December 30, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court, in an appeal against placement in a pre-trial detention center on December 30, reduced Bykov's detention, TASS reports citing lawyer Alexei Prokhorov.
The term of detention in the pre-trial detention center was reduced by three days, that is, until February 21, 2021.
