The Crimean authorities banned employers from organizing New Year's corporate parties for their teams at the workplace, and further strengthened pre-holiday restrictions for catering establishments and shopping centers. Corresponding changes were made to the decree on high readiness by the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov.
“Employers are prohibited from holding corporate events, including at the place of business (in structural divisions, industrial canteens, assembly halls, etc.),” the document says.
Catering establishments were ordered to halve the number of seats. In addition, the authorities of the republic introduced a moratorium on the operation of food courts in shopping centers, food zones and islands of food, allowing them to work as takeaways, like cafes. The ban also includes fairs, drawings, presentations of goods and services, and other entertainment and educational events on the territory of the shopping center.
