In the government building of the Samara region, 12 people who came to an appointment with the governor were detained

In the building of the government of the Samara region, about 12 people were detained who came to see the governor to discuss mass vaccination against coronavirus. Ilya Baltabaev, a journalist from the telegram channel “And to be honest,” told OVD-Info about this.

According to the journalist, local residents initiated filing applications to refuse mass vaccination after the publication of the Independent Association of Doctors on the website of the All-People's Union for the Revival of Russia. The Association's text stated that the vaccination "contains signs of genocide" and that the vaccine itself was "purchased from Bill Gates, who maintains the WHO [World Health Organization]". Baltabaev clarifies that the vaccination is voluntary, but government employees need it to continue their work.

According to various estimates, says Baltabaev, between 30 and 100 people gathered inside and around the government building. Residents demanded a meeting with Governor Dmitry Azarov. For an hour and a half, their request was ignored. Then Andrey Chernyshov, a representative of the Department for Work with Citizens' Appeals, received three local residents. Chernyshov listened to the citizens and promised that an initiative group would be assembled the next day, and the local residents would be allowed to talk to the governor. When residents left the government building after the reception, security forces began to detain them.

The police detained 12 people, eight of them women, and some of them were “dragged along the ground” to the police cars during the arrest, Baltabaev said. All residents were taken to OP No. 5. In the department, a protocol was drawn up for some detainees under the article on participation in an uncoordinated action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), meaning by this a “picket” in the government house, and for others, a violation of the “regime high alert” (Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). All detainees have already been released from the department.

Baltabaev notes that the employees prevented journalists from working in the department, threatening them with detention and criminal charges, and employees of the Center “E” arrived at the department after a while.
