In Khabarovsk, the police detained at least 17 participants in a rally in support of the ex-governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Sergei Furgal. About it writes "OVD-Info".
Reports were drawn up against some of the detainees on violation of the rules for holding public events (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Navalny's staff member Maria Nuykina was not brought to the police department, and she was immediately released. The rest of the detainees were taken to three police departments in Khabarovsk.
Actions in support of Furgal have been held in Khabarovsk since July, when the ex-governor was detained and arrested, now he is in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center in Moscow. Furgal is charged with organizing the murders of businessmen in the 2000s. He himself does not admit his guilt.
