
Additional forces of the Russian military police arrived to stabilize the situation in the Syrian district of Ain-Isa. This was announced on Sunday by the deputy head of the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik. His words are given by TASS.
"Today, to build up efforts to stabilize the situation, additional units of the Russian military police arrived in the Ain -Isa district," Sytnik said, calling on the parties that are shelling and stop the escalation.
According to the deputy head of the Center, earlier in negotiations with the Turkish side an agreement was reached on the placement of joint Russian-Syrian posts due to an unstable situation in the area.
The Russian side recorded for a day in the Idlib de -escalation zone 21 shelling from the Jebhat al -Nusra terrorist group*, among which in the province of Aleppo - two shelling, in Idlib - nine, Latakia - five and in the province of Hama - five. From the side of armed groups, controlled by Turkey, there were no shelling.
"The Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties calls on the commanders of illegal armed groups to abandon armed provocations and embark on the path of peaceful settlement of the situation in the areas controlled by them," the Rear Admiral emphasized.
