All those arriving in Turkey from abroad should now provide a certificate of the negative result of the Coronavirus test. From December 28, the requirement will affect those who arrive in the country, from December 30 - citizens arriving by ground and sea transport, RBC reports.

According to the head of the Turkish Ministry of Health Fakhrettin Kodzhi, without a certificate received no more than 72 hours before arrival, they will not be allowed into the country. Citizens will be given the opportunity to undergo testing at the entrance to Turkey, if coronavirus is detected, they will be quarantined. New precautions will operate until March 1, 2021. The Turkish Airlines has already reported that she would not be allowed into passengers without a negative PCR test.

The Turkish authorities explained the tightening of the rules for the spread of a new, more contagious coronavirus strain, about which the British Ministry of Health reported on December 14. According to the country's prime minister Boris Johnson, this genetic version of coronavirus can be 70% more infectious and can lead to a greater number of hospitalizations and deaths next year.

In addition to the UK, a new strain of coronavirus was identified in Turkey, Germany, Denmark, Australia, France and Japan, which closed the borders before the end of January, and Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait were also banned from entering the country. A number of European countries have suspended air traffic with Great Britain, and Russia also abolished the flights there.

In terms of the number of coronavirus, Türkiye is occupied by the seventh place in the world, it follows from the University of Jones Hopkins. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 2.1 million sick Covid-19 has registered in the country, over 19 thousand people died.

Against the background of a high daily increase in the new infected authorities, Turkey tightened restrictions. From December 1, the country has a commandant hour on weekends - from 21:00 Friday to 5:00 Monday. On weekdays, the authorities banned the street from 21:00 to 5:00. This measure will operate in Turkey and on New Year's holidays - from December 1 to January 4.

The Turkish authorities also banned any musical events after 22:00, including live performances and listening to the recorded music. The measure will act on New Year's Eve. In it, hotels and restaurants with them were forbidden to conduct entertainment programs with leading and musicians, parties, balls, shows and gala dwellings. Representatives of Turkish hotels and receiving companies said that if the client paid for the New Year's event, the hotels will return funds to tourists either directly or through the tour operator. The Russian embassy in Turkey reported that tourists were exempted from restrictions on going out on the street on weekends.

Against the backdrop of the Pandemia of Coronavirus, Russia at the end of March suspended air traffic with other countries. Gradually, it began to cancel this restriction in the summer. One of the few countries that Russians were able to fly again became Türkiye. Russia resumed air traffic with her on August 1 .
