The FSIN has threatened Navalny with revoking his probation in the Yves Rocher case

A representative of the Moscow Federal Penitentiary Service threatened politician Alexei Navalny to petition the court to revoke his probation in the Yves Rocher case. Lawyer Vadim Kobzev reports this.

The lawyer published a screenshot of a message from the head of one of the FSIN inspectorates in the city. The service employee said that he would submit a petition to the court to replace the suspended sentence with a real one if Navalny does not appear at the inspection on December 29 by 9 am.

Currently, the politician lives in the European Union, as he came to Germany for treatment after poisoning.

“And once again: the whole world knows that Navalny is undergoing rehabilitation in Germany. Tomorrow there was no way he could end up in the Moscow criminal inspection. But does the Federal Penitentiary Service really care about common sense? They were given an order, they are working,” writes Navalny’s press secretary Kira Yarmysh.

In 2014, brothers Alexei and Oleg Navalny were found guilty of fraud in the Yves Rocher case. Oleg was sentenced to three and a half years of real life, Alexey - to three and a half years of probation.

According to investigators, the brothers stole more than 26 million rubles from the Yves Rocher Vostok company and more than four million rubles from the Multidisciplinary Processing Company. Back in 2013, Yves Rocher provided the Investigative Committee with a report according to which no damage was caused to the company.

• On December 21, Navalny told how, before the release of the investigation into his poisoning that happened in August, hecalled FSB officer Konstantin Kudryavtsev, introducing himself as assistant to Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev. Navalny’s interlocutor told over the phone the details of the assassination attempt on the oppositionist. In particular, he said that his duties included cleaning the politician’s underpants from traces of a toxic substance.
• On December 14, 2020, an investigation was published by a group of journalists from Bellingcat , The Insider and CNN with the participation of Der Spiegel and the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by politician Alexei Navalny. Investigators found that a group of FSB officers with medical training had been monitoring Navalny since 2017, and that security forces tried at least three times to poison Navalny with a nerve agent from the Novichok group.
• Navalny became ill on the morning of August 20 on a plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. He was dropped off in Omsk and taken to a local emergency hospital. According to Navalny’s associates, there were plainclothes operatives on the hospital grounds. After long negotiations, Navalny’s relatives ensured that on August 22 he was transported to the German Charité clinic. Two days later, representatives of the clinic announced that they had found signs of a chemical warfare agent from the Novichok group in his body. In October, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed the presence of traces of poison from the Novichok group in Navalny’s tests. The politician spent about two weeks in a coma.
